Infinity Girl // Topshelf Records
It is with a great deal of excitement that we share with you the news that we'll be working with Brooklyn, NY's Infinity Girl in releasing their sophomore full length album Harm on August 28, 2015! Stereogum is currently premiering the album's first single, "Firehead", calling it a "a lush, emotive piece of work" (and we can only agree). Pre-orders for Harm are also now up.
We were first introduced to the band by way of a demo they sent us. It was the first time I can ever remember being sent an unsolicited demo that completely floored me. We wrote back almost immediately to inquire about hearing the rest of the album. The songs on Harm cover a lot of sonic ground over their 11-song traversal of pop, shoe gaze and punk, but as a whole, feel like one incredibly cohesive piece. We're very excited about this band and album.
Have a listen to the new single over on Stereogum and be sure to listen to their prior releases on bandcamp. If you like what you hear, you can pre-order the album now or give them a follow on Facebook and Twitter.
Thanks!!
