Suis La Lune // Recording new album to be released in 2015
Upon releasing 2012's Riala, Sweden's Suis la Lune went into a brief hibernation. The band will shake off the cob webs from that lull, however, and enter the studio this weekend to record a new album set for a 2015 release. Below is what the band's drummer, Karl Sladö, had this to say about the new material:
It's gonna be four songs, they're a bit longer than previous Suis La Lune songs. Recording is clocking in at around 25 minutes. The songs are also a bit more "technical" if you wish, nothing typical mathy about them, but a lot of stuff going on for sure. Suis La Lune still sounds like Suis La Lune, but I guess the direction we're heading would be longer songs, if anything.
As you know, this isn't our first release by a long shot, but it's the first one with our revamped setting. All original members are still here, but me and Daniel have switched instruments, so you'll find Daniel at the guitar and myself behind the drums. This has worked out better than expected and we're really happy about it.
More details soon!
