Our love for bands like Braid, Hey Mercedes and Lifted Bells is endless — and anchored by a common theme: Bob Nanna. Which is why we're excited to announce that we'll be releasing the next album for his solo project, The City on Film on December 16, 2014.

Produced by Bob Nanna and Jeff Dean, recorded and mixed by Jeff Dean at Million Yen in Chicago, IL in April and July 2014 with Jon Drew handling mastering duties, La Vella is up for pre-order now with a new song premiering on Brooklyn Vegan at noon EST today (Wednesday, October 29). You can catch the band on tour on the following dates:

• Nov 2 - The Fest / High Dive, Gainesville FL (full band)
• Nov 7 - Township, Chicago IL (full band)
• Dec 20 - Metro, Chicago IL (solo)
