Jess Abbott is a phenomenal songwriter. More well known for her role playing in Now, Now, she has just recently finished recording her second studio album under the Tancred moniker. Borrowing equally from the pop sensibilities of, say, Tegan & Sara and the melancholy brilliance of, say, David Bazan comes this: her self-titled new album. This is perfect fall music.
