Into It. Over It.'s "Twelve Towns" LP Out August 9th on Topshelf!
Chicago-based, Philadelphia-raised songwriter Evan Thomas Weiss, aka Into It. Over It., aka best dude o'clock, has announced plans to release his long awaited Twelve Towns LP this summer with us.
Set for an official release of August 9th, the release is a compilation of six split 7 inches that Weiss released between last summer and May, 2011. Each split release featured a different selection of Weiss' closest friends and bands, including:
- Snack Town split with CSTVT released by Topshelf Records
- Split with Everyone Everywhere released by Topshelf Records
- Split with Such Gold released by No Sleep Records / Mightier Than Sword Records
- Split with Pswingset released by Count Your Lucky Stars Records
- Split with Empire! Empire! (I Was A Lonely Estate) released by Count Your Lucky Stars Records
- Split with Bob Nanna and Lauren Lo released by Evil Weevil Records
The Twelve Towns LP will include a download of five live tracks from a Nervous Energies session. Album art and track list coming soon!
Weiss and Into It. Over It. will also soon be setting out on a full US and Canadian tour opening for UK-based Epitaph recording artist Frank Turner and American folk punk band Andrew Jackson Jihad. The tour, which stretches from late September to early November, follows Weiss' recent set of dates supporting Fake Problems, Pomegranates, Laura Stevenson and The Cans, Mansions and more.
