Boston-based (T-T)b describe themselves as "deep-fried bitpunk for short attention spans." The trio writes music about feelings, TV shows and extraterrestrial life. The band has a range of influences, perhaps most obviously in Math the Band and Anamanaguchi (from whom the band got their name), but Slimy Quagmire builds upon that, drawing influence from mid-’90s power pop bands like Weezer, That Dog and The Rentals and LVL UP and Charly Bliss on a more contemporary level. The end result is hits with a refreshingly jarring familiarity.
